Weapons Wednesday #1

As promised, here are the 3 weapons for today!  These go in no random order of awesomeness.  They are all awesome.

#1. The first weapon I have is the Unholy Shadow Pride.It’s a sword with a jagged, pitch black blade with a creepy red aura surrounding it.  Its guard looks like a cross between a human skull and a spider’s, with glowing, red eye sockets.  It is definitely a weapon for evil.  You can find it at Yulgar’s Suggestion Shop II for 7,500 gold.

#2  The second weapon allows you to get up close and personal in your fights with enemies.  It’s Gia’s Primal Brawlers, properly named as they allow you to release your animal side on your opponent, slashing them with the claws and dagger on the back.  They are in the shape of a black claw with red trim and silver claws.  These things are awesome looking. They also have a dagger attached to the back for maximum efficiency.  If only they made them smaller.  You can buy them at Yulgar’s Suggestion I shop for 35,000 gold.

#3  The final item on this list allows you to live out your childhood dreams of a cowboy.  It’s the Colt Revolver.  It may not look like much, but it is powerful.  An incredibly detailed six shooter pistol from the Old West, this little baby can be yours for the low low price of only 200,000 gold at Yulgar’s Weapon shop.  Although, for that much, I’d expect to get some ammo for it instead of just slapping people with the handle.  Oh well, it still looks cool.

My New Segment!

Hey guys.  Like Ellonnah, I haven’t been posting on here much either.  But that is all about to change.  If you can remember all the way back to my last post (hard I know), i said i was going to post a list of non-member cool items for free players.  That never happened.  Well, I’m going to change that.  I introduce you to the all new WEAPONS WEDNESDAY!!!! I will show off 3 weapons that look amazing, that are available for gold with no membership required!

The Adventures of Voltage: Part 2

I’m back, baby!  (Bonus points for knowing what show that’s from.  I’ve been really busy.  Mostly because I made apple cider, played Voltaire’s Mogloween, and got ADDICTED to One-Eyed Doll (Thanks a lot Ellonah.)  I also just won a poster from One-Eyed Doll that was used in the Be My Friend video!  Anyway, it’s time to continue the Adventures of Voltage.  I will post a list of great items by Friday, to make up for my absence.  Some will be rares long gone, but some will be current rares, some will be AC items, and some will be coin items.  They will all, however, be available to the non-paying player of AQW!

It was night when I arrived in Battleon Town.  I just hoped that Yulgar still had a room available.  The cold wind howled and chilled me to my bone.  I pulled my cloak tighter around myself, and pressed on.  As I crested a hill, I saw Yulgar’s Inn.  The lights were still on, so I had a good feeling.  I nearly ran down the hill, I was so anxious to get warm.

“Close the door, you’re letting the cold in!” Yulgar shouted.  I quickly closed the door behind me.  I looked around.  The inn was rather sparse.  There were a dozen or so people hanging around, sitting at the bar or at tables, drinking Yulgar’s special concoction or spiced moglinberry juice for the less adventurous.  I sat myself down at the bar.

“Yulgar! The usual, please!”  Yulgar grabbed a mug, filled it with some of his special brew, added a little bit of spiced moglinberry juice, put a lid on it, shook it up, and slid it down the bar to me.  I grabbed it and lit a fire in my other hand.  I dropped the little fir in my drink, warming it up.  I take a swig and sigh.  Heat starts flowing through my body, restoring feeling to my fingers and toes.  The door slams open, accompanied by a cold wind.  It quickly shuts and a woman seats herself at the bar next to me.

“Yulgar!  The special, please!” she called.  Yulgar reached under the counter and filled a mug with something special from under the counter.  She grabs it and takes a sip.  She turns and looks at me.  She has blonde hair and brown eyes.  “Who are you?” she asks.

“I’m Voltage.” I said.

“Are you an adventurer?”

“What if I am?”

“Where’s your weapon?”

I hesitated, then replied “I’m a mage.  The only weapons I need are my magic and my mind.” I thought that she wouldn’t keep talking.

“Ohhhhhhhhh.  So it broke then didn’t it?” she said, taking a long drink from her mug.

“Yup.” I say, looking down at my mug.

“No worries.  I got ya’.” She said, turning to Yulgar.  “Yulgar, could you show this man my personal store?”

“Sure thing.” Yulgar said in his gruff voice.  He pulled a lever on a shelf and it spun around, revealing a glorius weapon rack.  So many shiny weapons, I didn’t know where to start

“Pick any one you want.  Or pick them all.  I don’t care.  As long as you pay Yulgar.”

I looked around.  There were so many different weapons.  But one pair caught my eyes.  It was a pair of daggers, slightly lighter than dirt, made out of what seemed to be stone.  They had a winged skulls at the base of the blades.  The handle was thin, comging dow to what looked like a big claw.  I reached up and grabbed them.  Instantly, I nearly dropped them.  They were full of magic.

“Woah.  Voltage, look at the blades.”  Ellonah said.  I looked down and was surprised.  A golden circle of light had appeared on the ends.  I knew then that I would take them.

“How much Yulgar?”

“Nothing.  Take ‘em.”  He said.  “Those are magic dagger.  Onve they make a bond with a mage, they will never break, and never be used by anyone else.”

“Thanks Yulgar.  Ellonah, let’s keep in touch.  Maybe we can go questing sometime.”  With that, I made like I was putting the blades in a sheath, and they disappeared.  I went up to my room, fell into my bed, and slept.

I am so sorry, but I have just been backed up with stuff.  My friends keep pressuring me with Xbox, I just downloaded a One-Eyed Doll album, and I’ve also hardly played AQW.  I will post by Friday, at the absolute latest.  That is a promise.  If I don’t, I will personally resign from AQW fansite.  BTW yay Mini Drakath nonmember AC pet!  I had to get him!

I’m sorry for not posting in forever.  I’ve been busy with everything.  I will post by Friday, I promise.  It will be the next adventures of Voltage.

The Adventures of Voltage : Part 1

I stroll down the road, taking a break from all the studying that comes with being a mage.  A single spell takes a lot of time.  I’ve only just learned Fireball.  I carry my trusty staff with me.  It may not look like much, but I like it.  I see a woman, who clearly seems in distress.

“Help me!  Please!”  She ran to me.  “Hero, will you please help me?”

“Of course.  What’s the problem?”

“Sepulchure the DoomKnight is invading!”  As she said that, an undead soldier came charging at me.  As I braced myself, Artix the Paladin drove the Blinding Light of Destiny straight through the undead, splitting him in two.

“Oh…..my……”  Attacking a tower was the biggest dragon I’d ever seen.  Its whole body was as black as ink, except for its eyes, which gleamed a blood-red.

“My tower!” the mystery lady shrieked.  “Please save my tower, hero.”

“My name is Voltage.”

“I’m Meryth.  Now hurry!”  I run towards the tower, casting fireballs faster than ever.  As I cut them down, I stormed into the tower.  I run onto the teleportation portal and a split-second later found myself facing a dragon.

His undead rider jumped down from his back and swung at me.  Then, like a beacon of light, Artix burst through the door and tackled the undead knight, both falling out of the tower.  I was left with the dragon.  I hurled fireballs so fast my staff felt like it was burning.  I dodged a blast of fire breath and a snap of the dragon’s jaws, and slammed my staff into the dragon so hard it broke, and sent him toppling out of the tower.

Just then, Artix came through the doors, heaving from his journey up the stairs, oblivious to the magic portal.

“Thanks for the help.  You did a good job.” he said to me, beaming.  I hoped he couldn’t see my face.  Artix Von Krieger, legendary Undead Slayer, had just complemented me.  I tried to play it cool.

“It was no problem.  What’s that flying off in the distance?”  I pointed into the sky to a dragon of bones with a castle on its back flying towards a castle.

“Oh no.” Artix’s smile fell.  “That’s Sepulchure’s fortress!  He’s attacking Swordhaven! Come on, we have to stop him!”  With that, Artix jumped out of the tower, ready to defend Swordhaven, and I followed, ready to test my skills as a mage.

Hello Everyone!

My name is HighVoltage225, and I’m new here at AQW Fansite.  I’ve been playing off and on for a while, because I never got into the game.  Hold all your gasps to the end.  I now love it because I found the 13 Lords of Chaos.  I have been playing on my full-time account for over a year.  I am different because I purposefully don’t get a membership.  I used to be on the side of light, but I decided to join dark for one reason; because dark stuff looks cool.  I can’t go anywhere without my Crimson Darkness Headgear and my DoomWings.  My pride weapon is the Diamonds of Time, which has a 1% drop rate.  But I prefer my Dark Dracomancer’s Scythe, because it looks cool.  I also love Skyrim references.  I plan on posting the 13 Lords of Chaos story from my character’s point of view.  Later, I may start posting a guide to nonmember, non AC items, for all you players out there that have tight wallets, or empty ones, like me.  I will try to post at least once or twice a week.  I hope that you’ll enjoy my posts, and don’t be afraid to give me criticism.

 

Remember, I used to serve light like you, but then I took a Shadowscythe to the knee.
